A Plan Application – Ready to Wear SS19 Collection – PFW2018
A Plan Application – effortless & real.
This is the second season artist and designer Anna Blessman has shown her collection and in a world where some have grown crazy for street style, edgy and over the top fashion, the brilliance of Anna’s vision is that it isn’t any of these things, and yet it is so much more.

The jump suit or the judo suit, just tweaked and modified and updated looks like bliss to wear, and the client adds their own style, be it ethnic, minimal or romantic. The colour palette from black through white to a neon Chinese yellow and hints of silver accessories is really strong, the scarves designed by Peter Savile, Anna’s husband add a poetic touch to every outfit.
During the time I spent looking at the collection, those women not wearing pieces were looking at the pieces they would order. A real woman designing for real women without a specific age, size or culture in mind; simply creating clothes for a busy life, clothes to wear for different occasions and clothes without fuss, clutter or bits. In other words fashion as clothes rathe4 than the other way around.
Anna is doing a great job of fulfilling the needs of shoppers who demand quality, love to look good but know their own style, and also know their own minds. Fabrics and finishes are natural, practical and classic.
If it was this easy why didn’t someone do it before? It takes a woman and an artist to create this specific fashion portrait, editing with stylish rigour until only the best remains.
Oh and please, somebody buy me the silver tote bag; it’s divine!
